By mastering swim-float-swim techniques, children and adults gain the tools they need to stay safe in any aquatic environment while building a foundation for advanced swim techniques.
Overview Swim-Float-Swim Technique
The swim-float-swim technique equips swimmers to:
• Swim a short distance with proper breath control, head orientation, body position, and flutter kicks—the building blocks for Freestyle.
• Transition into a float position to rest and breathe, developing the foundational skills needed for Backstroke.
• Roll or flip between swimming and floating, introducing the essential motion for side breathing in Freestyle.
This technique not only teaches life-saving skills but also prepares swimmers for future stroke development by focusing on core fundamentals.
